Myth: Lying in bed is good for back pain. Truth: Lying in bed too long can cause back pain. When we lie horizontal at night our discs fill with fluid making our backs stiff. Its why your spine aches after being in bed too long when you are sick. It’s one reason we recommend lots of walking with back pain. It squishes excess fluid out of the discs.

Pain in your Achilles tendon? Cut a heel wedge out of cardboard & put it in your shoe. Not thick enough? Cut out 2 or 3 & tape them together. It will take some of the stress off the tendon as it tries to heal. Then google Bob and Brad Achilles Tendonitis. We'll fix you up.
