sharing my vacation prep as a licensed esthetician โ๏ธโ๏ธ๐งด
a few things I always keep in my beach + toiletry bag to protect my skin, brows, lashes, and lips while traveling because vacation skin hits different when you prep correctly๐ค
my biggest tips:
โข focus on hydration + barrier repair instead of harsh actives the week leading up to your vacation & during your vacation if you will be spending extended amounts of time in the sunโ leave your actives at home
โข re-apply SPF more than you think
โข keep lashes & brows moisturized after swimming (especially to keep your lash lift & brow lami hydrated)
โข bring a gentle cleanser & gentle, hydrating, aloe based barrier creams and skincare products to keep your barrier strong, happy, & hydrated during your trip
โข a mini pop-up shade tent is a GAME CHANGER for protecting your face, neck & chest from direct sun exposure AND if it ends up raining while youโre out swimming like a mermaid it keeps your electronics dry tooโ๏ธ
