September is Alopecia Awareness Month 💙
About 2% of the world population has or will experience Alopecia in their lifetime. Hair loss is not an easy road to travel. We are humbled every day by giving support to kids through their hair loss journey.

I have openings on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday this week!

I was so excited this weekend when a “quick haircut” turned into a purple and blonde highlight. Purple is my favorite hair color!! 💜

Today was a short day in the salon. Shampoo and roller set, with a nail file and a little clear nail polish to boost the spirits! Now time to get a lasagna in the oven and enjoy a late lunch with my boys! 💕💕

I have been struggling with self-care lately. There’s no excuse for it as I have an entire salon in my home and I have lots of options for taking care of myself, but exhaustion has kept me from doing anything extra. Yesterday I decided that it was time to get up off the couch and take care of myself. First, I gave myself a gel French manicure. Then I did a clarifying and demineralization treatment on my hair followed by an Olaplex strengthening and shine treatment. I then gave myself a colorbomb treatment to neutralize the warmth in my hair followed by a deep conditioning treatment. After that I used a coffee and brown sugar body polish to exfoliate my skin. Finally, I took the time to give my hair a fabulous blowout.
I feel so much better and encourage you to take some time for yourself today.

I am back in the salon this weekend and have plenty of time if you'd like to come in! I have Joico shampoos and conditioners in stock. For those of you who have placed orders from specific brands, I am still waiting for them to come in. Usually products are here within a few days, it's been 2 weeks and i'm still waiting.
