Devon has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2007. After being a hairstylist for 10 years, she became an instructor for a cosmetology school in Portland, Oregon.

Soon after returning to California, she learned about electrology and what a difference it would make for others. She has always found a love for helping people feel their best and knows that electrolysis is a great addition to achieving that reward.

Wala's background is in healthcare finance but she has always had a passion for the beauty industry. After years of trying every type of temporary hair removal methods out there for her own hair issues she started seeking out a permanent solution. This led her to discover electrolysis and she fell in love with the field.

Wala is very passionate about what she does and has a great eye for attention to detail and thrives to make clients feel comfortable and safe during their treatments.

Licensed Esthetician & Electrologist
Carissa as been a licensed esthetician for over 10 years. She graduated from Paul Mitchell in 2011 and has worked in the field ever since. Carissa found her love and fascination for skin as a teen and would soon find the same love for hair removal. From her first job gaining experience in a day spa, Carissa went on to become a brow specialist where she trained and perfected the art of brow sculpting. With a desire to help others Carissa came full circle with her alma mater and in 2018 became an instructor for Paul Mitchell. Among clinical instruction of the students, she also taught advanced topics as well as waxing and instruction of the California State Board testing.

Christa has been a volunteer art teacher, a painter, and a stay-at-home mother to three loving boys for nearly twenty years. As her boys entered their teenager years, she had more time and decided to find another meaningful career...one that she could continue to help people feel their best.

Christa found California Electrology Academy and knew that the field of electrolysis was a perfect fit. She graduated and earned her license in 2022 and is eager to embark on this new journey.

Yara was born in Syria where she studied Agricultural Engineering. She immigrated to the United States in 2014 with her husband and two kids at the onset of the war in Syria. She obtained her license in Electrology in 2021 after graduating from California Electrology Academy. She feels happy when providing electrology services as she knows it changes lives for the better.

With over 40years of experience as an Esthetician and Electrologist, Johanne Fortier Gonella CPE is a world renowned Instructor in the field of electrology and esthetics. Originally from Quebec, Canada, she spent the beginning of her career teaching esthetics and electrology in Quebec. Constantly travelling for the betterment of her skill, Johanne has trained in Paris and Germany before coming to the United States.

Active in local as well as national associations, Johanne has a true passion for her field that transfers to her care and compassion for her clients. Johanne is co-owner of , a school offering electrology training in California, is an active member of the American Electrology Association and Certified Professional Electrologist.

Owner or OC Electrolysis & Skin Care, Joanie has a bachelors degree in the field of Neuroscience from the University of California, Irvine and a post-graduate certificate in Pre-Health sciences from Florida Atlantic University.

Joanie obtained her license as a professional Electrologist in California in 2003. Today, Joanie is an internationally recognized speaker in the field of electrology. Joanie is co-owner of , a school offering electrology training in California, is an active member of the American Electrology Association and Certified Professional Electrologist.
