With so much going on both in our city and in the country as a whole, we kind of missed our 8th anniversary 😬😂 I (Ashley) am so thankful for this place every day and am grateful for the friends, family, neighbors and clients who support us and have been since day 1. It never goes unnoticed and I thank you for spending your hard earned money in a small, local business like ours. Thanks also to .dtsa for killing it behind the chair and for always being the salon’s positive vibe ambassador. Cheers to many more!

We at Salon Sycamore stand with our neighbors, clients and friends against the aggressive actions taken by Ice and DHS in our community. What’s happening is beyond words but not beyond actions. We will be donating 20% of our net product sales from now on to to help folks wait for their hearings at home where they have support. Hopefully our small action will help create some meaningful steps for those fighting for justice.

* It’s not that unusual to forget or miss a milestone and with everyone’s schedules being so busy and the world and news keeping us on our toes, our 7th anniversary went by without a celebration or acknowledgment. It may be belated but we’re so happy we’re still cranking out great hair, creating a safe and comfortable community space and giving back to our community and social justice causes through our monthly donations. Thanks to everyone who keeps this place going especially .dtsa who not only creates amazing vivids and shags but keeps all the plant babies alive and decorates the salon for spooky season every year. This quarter’s donation is near and dear to us at the salon. The fires in Maui were devastating and impacted not only the amazing citizens of Maui but also their pets.

This donation is also given on behalf of .dtsa who just celebrated FIVE years at salon sycamore! She is a huge animal rights advocate, devoted vegan and lover of all creatures (even the occasional salon spider 😭🕷️). I’m ever so thankful she chose salon sycamore to showcase her incredible talent, amazing style and ever present kindness. Here’s to saving the furry friends of Maui and here’s to you, Nina! 💕🥳🫶🏻
