Happy 9th birthday to us! 🥳

In the midst of World Cup fever and a pretty decent heatwave, Salon Sycamore turned 9! We’re so incredibly grateful for the love and support of our clients, neighbors and loved ones who choose to spend their hard earned money to support a teeny salon in downtown Santa Ana. Here’s to many more years of laughter, happy (and occasionally sad) tears, community building, a little chisme and a lot of good hair.

✨Big Announcement from us at Salon Sycamore!✨

We’re super excited to let our clients know our website got a full refresh and we’re now booking all of our appointments with square! We’re happy to leave our old system in the past and start fresh with a new scheduler and a rebuilt website. If you have a previously booked appointment, it has been transferred to the new calendar, making sure no one loses their spot. Salon Sycamore will be open tomorrow to take care of clients booked in advance of the events taking place Friday January 30th. We are with you in spirit, angry over what is happening in our community, our state and around the country. We will be donating 100% of our net product sales for this week to . We are not just a hair salon; we are a place to gather and feel safe, to experience joy and express sadness, to support and life up one another. When one of us isn’t safe, none of us are. We love you SA 🫶🏻💕

With so much going on both in our city and in the country as a whole, we kind of missed our 8th anniversary 😬😂 I (Ashley) am so thankful for this place every day and am grateful for the friends, family, neighbors and clients who support us and have been since day 1. It never goes unnoticed and I thank you for spending your hard earned money in a small, local business like ours. Thanks also to .dtsa for killing it behind the chair and for always being the salon’s positive vibe ambassador. Cheers to many more!

We at Salon Sycamore stand with our neighbors, clients and friends against the aggressive actions taken by Ice and DHS in our community. What’s happening is beyond words but not beyond actions. We will be donating 20% of our net product sales from now on to to help folks wait for their hearings at home where they have support. Hopefully our small action will help create some meaningful steps for those fighting for justice.
