The way I work is to figure out my clients maintenance goals. Daily maintenance and how often they want to come in the salon. Then we can chat about styles and color after that. This client wanted a wash and wear style that was minimal daily effort, but she did have to come in for regular trims which she was willing to do. We kept her color natural because not only is it beautiful but she was not willing to sit at the salon for hours.
