AKVA Organics grew from a combined love of skin care and science.
I started making my own skin care products more than five years ago when I could no longer buy products that suited my needs, my line has expanded over time as family and friends asked for help with their own skin care complaints. The reality is that most skin care products on the market today are created with profit, not skin health, as their major motivator. Those products that do contain natural and organic ingredients, only contain a bit of the current "hot" compound (e.g. shea butter), and are formulated to take advantage of the current fad, not because the product is improved by the addition of that compound. With my background in the sciences, I have spent years researching the properties of many natural and organic ingredients, Family and friends have served as good-natured guineau pigs as different combinations have been tested and refined to produce the line of natural products available today. We are a small, family owned business committed to providing the highest quality natural and organic products with personal and responsive customer service.

New Lotion! Cucumber lotion is lightweight and refreshing, but still moisturizing. Great for dry, damaged, or sensitive skin.
