Cole Thompson is a artistic team member for and the former creative director for Vidal Sassoon he will be teaching a medium/long modern s**g. The class will be on May 24th at 6pm at 223B anacapa st. A birthday to me is a checkpoint, a marker, a chapter. A time to reflect and evaluate what belongs and what no longer suites me on my journey. I believe the only way to continue to move forward is to take the time to be grateful for every situation negative, positive, or however I perceived it. For it has brought me to this moment. At the end of the day its all data collection that helps me understand and find that middle lane, that balance, that harmony. But without drifting and bumping into the walls from time to time we wouldn’t understand what that middle lane looks like. so I take life as a never-ending sequence of lessons. Each chapter, each level with a new challenge. for if it didn’t test us and was already known we would just carry on about life unchallenged and unchanged. similar to your shoe being untied as a child. When you were young tying your shoe may have been the hardest thing in your world at that moment, but now that you’ve learned and mastered it you don’t think twice about it. So what's your next shoelace you gotta learn to tie? what lessons and challenges does this next chapter hold for you? That is what I find myself asking myself.
