Created this gorgeous hair color for my client! She wanted a few subtle flashes of color against a darker base, giving her hair a fun and unique look. I love being able to create custom colors that perfectly suit each client’s style. Check out before and after photos for the transformation.

Modern Mullet

Since the pandemic left us uncertain when we were going to be able to reopen hair salons. My client (pictured here) decided to let her hair go grey. We use to do color and highlights, she got used to the grey, so when we finally opened back up we had a conversation about that. She’s way too young to be sporting grey hair, so I recommend we use her grey to her advantage. Instead of covering it why don’t we blend it so it’s easy maintenance and when it grows out there are no harsh grow-out lines? I also chose a color that would blend with her existing color and highlights as you can see it is a seamless blend from roots to ends.

In two sessions and a total of about 9.5 hours, I transformed her hair from highlighted hair that I had previously did to this color melt of purple and blue. See before and after highlights to see this hair transformation.

She originally wanted a copper color but that was not possible due to a home job dark red box color. After performing a strand test, and talking about her options we decided to go with these striking red highlights. Check before and after to see this transformation.

She came in with orange and red brown hair after attempting to do her color herself. The end results are what she was originally going for, a beautiful ash brown with lighter highlights on top and pieces popping through the bottom. Check Before and After to see before pics.

Long hair is beautiful, but only if you maintain it with regular haircuts. Even if you are trying to grow your hair, 1/2 inch cuts every eight weeks helps your hair grow healthy and help keep the ends from splitting.

This was an eight hour process split into two days. A lot of people think bright colors is a quick process, quite the contrary. If the process is done correctly your results can be stunning and leave your hair with good integrity. Please look at my Before & After stories to see before pictures.
