Affective or Emotional Empathy
If we see someone hit their thumb with a hammer, we wince and cringe as if we experienced the pain, too. If we see someone crying at the loss of a loved one, we feel the weight in our chest, too. A process of emotional contagion allows their emotions to influence our own.
This form of empathy is referred to as affective or emotional empathy. We mirror the emotions of another.

Things people should never waste time doing
Going through the day without a plan
Individuals should have a mission, a laser-focused schedule of things they want to do on a specific day.
Write things down, maybe just the top two or three goals you need to do that day, not a long list of things.
Write down your top priorities and break down those big projects into more manageable steps and you'll find yourself trying to get them completed and marked off the list.

Things people should never waste time doing
Getting sucked into social media
Being on social media, checking Facebook notifications, scrolling through pictures on Instagram, reading quick updates on Twitter, whatever, is part of everyday life.
But if you don’t control how much time you spend on it, the hours will fly by and you won’t have accomplished anything on your to-do list.
So either put a time limit on it, set an alarm for when you need to minimize it, close the app, do something else or only get on after completing necessary work projects.
Use social media as a reward.

Ways of becoming smarter
Keeping track of your ideas
As you work to build your knowledge base, you’ll find your mind expanding and growing in new ways. If you’re filling your brain with great information, your mind is going to do its thing and start interpreting that information in a useful way.
You may find that you’ve suddenly become an idea machine. You’ll start experiencing “aha” moments, those little breakthroughs where you suddenly connect one idea to another to form an even bigger and better idea.
Make sure you’re taking note of these ideas. Write them down, keep them handy and make sure you continue to refer back to them. Remember, even your biggest and best ideas are utterly useless unless you actually do something with them.
If you have a stroke of genius but lose your train of thought and never go back to build on that idea or refine it, then you’ve just missed a great opportunity.
Not all of your new ideas are going to be winners. Some may be fleeting or simply won’t pan out. But once in a while, you might have a “light bulb” moment that could change your life.

Reviewing learned information
We recall new information most crisply right after we’ve learned it. If you don’t use that information again soon after you’ve learned it, it will quickly fade from your mind. After a few days, we may only be able to recall a little of what we initially learned. In order to increase our ability to remember, we need to store this information in our long-term memory, and the best way to do this is to frequently review what we’ve learned until it’s locked in our memory banks.
Make notes while reading or researching something, or take a few minutes when you’re done and write down the main points. Then spend even a few minutes every day reviewing this material. It takes a little effort, but once it’s a habit you’ll be amazed at how well a quick review of the information will help confirm that you understand it and help you see what areas you need to focus on.
You can also try rewriting the information or reorganizing your notes. This will actively reinforce what you’ve learned. The act of rewriting notes helps us clarify our understanding of a topic and reduces the time it takes us to re-learn it when we need to use that knowledge in the future.

Ways to sharpening our mind in 5 minutes a day
Turning statements into questions
“This bagel is too hard” makes for a bad Monday morning.
“This bagel is too hard?”
That’s a prompt to come up with a new way to make bagels delicious.
The question mark turns the problem into a project.
“What could I do to make this bagel softer?”
You could dip it in your coffee, re-heat it in the microwave with some water, or make it part of a different, bigger dish.
But you’ll never have any of those ideas if you stop at “This bagel is too hard.”
When you’re a kid, everything has a question mark at the end of it.
Only later do they turn into periods.
Or even exclamation points.
‘Will I get over this?’ becomes ‘It’s too late’ becomes ‘I can’t get over this!’”
Try to replace every period with a question mark, especially those attached to your own thoughts.
Given we have about 30–50 thoughts per minute, you could come up with a lot of questions in just a few minutes per day.
Most importantly, you’ll learn to think for yourself.

Benefits of Morning Exercise
Improving sleep, Lowering blood pressure & Lessening stress
Exercise, in general, is known to promote better sleeping habits. However, exercising in the evening can make it harder to fall asleep at night as it boosts your endorphins. People who exercise at 7 a.m. experience deeper, long sleep than those who exercise in the afternoon or evening. Morning workouts are the best way to reap all of the sleep benefits of exercise.
Regular exercise is fantastic for helping to prevent hypertension. As it turns out, exercising in the morning might be even better. Early morning exercise is best for reducing blood pressure. Those who work out in the morning reduce their blood pressure by 10%, and this reduction of blood pressure carries through the remainder of the day.
Walk into your office free from any built-up stress and tension. Breaking a sweat before work will lower your body’s cortisol levels aka stress hormones. Exercise will also help relieve tension and relax your muscles, which helps to fight the negative effects that stress has on your body.

Your mind is uncluttered
Relationships are mentally expensive. Intimacy and partnership takes up a lot of space in our heads. Even though much of this is happening unconsciously, there’s simply a lesser capacity for individually focused thought.
Winter refers to the time people in relationships inevitably spend worrying about their partners and, at times, ruminating on even the smallest quarrels as “the price of love.” This sort of stress can inhibit people’s happiness by keeping them from living in the now.
Emotional discord can be all-consuming as it removes us from the present moment and present situation. This is true whether the internal turmoil is based on a fight with our mate, or a fear for our health and well being.
Being single is an act of purging the clutter and making room for new thoughts and dreams to breathe and grow.

How being single improves your life
You’re more open to whatever life throws your way
Being single can make people more willing to roll with the punches. It’s almost like you have no choice. When you’re alone you have to be more self-sufficient.
Free from the constraints of having a partner, people’s lives suddenly become totally and completely their own. There’s nobody hindering you from setting out to chase your ambitions. You’re more likely to take risks and have adventures and have more novelty within your journey.
