Greasy?? Itchy?? I bet this ONE MICRO HABIT will be a game changer for you!

You keep buying all the new and “so amazing” shampoos over & over again, but still having issues??? Let’s redirect our focus from chasing new products, to our habits & technique. The most amazing products will be s**t if you aren’t using them properly.

Leaving shampoo behind is always going to give you problems. STOP HALF-ASSING THIS!!! 30-45 seconds of rinsing is the difference between a good hair day and a bad hair day. You’re already going through the effort & energy of washing your hair, DO IT BETTER!

There’s no magic number of seconds you have to rinse. But try giving yourself about 30 intentional seconds next wash day.

Move your head around. Lift the hair. Get your fingertips in there. Pay attention to the nape, sides and back. Make sure the water is actually reaching the scalp and all of your lengths.

Before you decide you need a new shampoo, clarifier, or another product… make sure you’re actually rinsing the ones you already use.

Do less. Do it better. 💋

Your shampoo technique matters more than you think. This is the FOUNDATION for styling your hair.

Shampoo isn’t just something you slap on, scrub for 10 seconds, and rinse away. This leads to buildup, greasy looking roots, & itchy scalps.

Take the time to thoroughly saturate your hair with water before adding anything!

Emulsify (rub it between your palms) your shampoo before applying it.

Work deliberately through the scalp.

Use your fingertips—not your nails. You’re just creating micro tears & unnecessary inflammation. You’re not getting a cleaner result.

And rinse thoroughly! Like… WAYYY longer than you think.

Then do this AGAIN! if you’re going 2, 3, 4+ days between washes, 1 wash isn’t going to cut it. If you’re on the upper end of dirty hair days, a 3rd wash is probably necessary. DON’T HALF ASS THIS PART!!! It will just give you more problems & bad hair days!

None of this is complicated.

That’s the point.

You don’t always need more. Sometimes you just need to do the basics BETTER. Elevate the Basic.
