Here is a 17 second video of how I wash my lashes. This is how my lashes look after a year and I can tell you that your Lash aftercare plays a huge role in your retention. How often should you wash your lashes? I wash mine twice a day. Is that excessive? Absolutely not. Let me tell you why:
1. Wash your lashes in the morning.
Everyone wakes up with the occasional eye, bo**er, and tears in their lashes. I mean, who doesn’t tear up a little bit when they yawn and who doesn’t yawn at bedtime. The salt water in our tears will make our lashes stick together temporarily. It can easily be washed out.
PRO TIP: NEVER brush your lashes after you’ve gotten tears in your eyes because you will literally rip out some of your lashes. Wash your lashes before brushing them out.
2. Wash your lashes before bed.
I personally wear makeup every day whether it’s a just some brow gel or a full face of makeup, I always wash off any makeup and SPF that I wore during the day. No matter how hard you try not to get any makeup or product in your lashes, it’ll still make it into your lashes. And even when I don’t wear makeup, if it was maybe windy that day I now have dirt and debris in my lashes just from the environment, so I want to make sure that I wash that out. Oil dirt and debris can really ruin your retention.
The results:
My Lashes are fluffy and full all the time. Plus my retention is really good. Your lash artist is not the only reason why you may or may not have good retention with your Lashes. Your Lash aftercare plays an even bigger role in your retention.

Banana peeling grown out extensions so effortlessly. This portion of your fill is the first thing I do before adding in new lash extensions. It is one of the few most important steps in a fill service. Removing outgrown lashes prevents them from being pulled out accidentally when brushing and prevents the natural lashes from premature shedding.
