Brown Sugar & Fig is one of my favorite autumnal scents. I mean, I’m happy to sniff it all year but the warm and sweet fragrance is particularly appropriate when the weather is cooling off. This bar features goat milk which is very gentle on skin, reduces skin inflammation and soothes dry skin. (Perfect for when we turn our heaters on) Layered in the soap you will see dried figs, lotus petals and chia seeds for a gentle exfoliation. So pretty! Available at The Hairapist Salon.

While away, I’ve been up to something very good. The old saying goes: if you start making candles, soon you’ll be making soap. May I introduce to you my handmade Pink Himalayan Salt Soap. Made with only the cleanest, most hydrating of ingredients like cocoa, mango and shea butter. Even the clear packaging is made from cornstarch and is compostable. This bar smells like the ocean and has fine pink salt to gently exfoliate your hands and body. Available at The Hairapist Salon in Santa Cruz.
