our volunteer team helps to run our info booth, coordinate stages, keep attendees safe, take photos, and support the after-party 🪩

requirements to volunteer:
🌈 participate in one of our volunteer trainings on june 27th or july 1st
🌈 sign up for at least one 3-hour shift for the day of the fest (or more!)

🎙️Come join us This Monday, May 18th, for live music by Lamby and Moon Thistle .thistle.music and an art market with local creatives.

🥰 Founded in Santa Fe, Lamby offers a joyous musical experience influenced by country, jazz and rock n roll. Georgie’s songwriting combined with the musicianship of her band transports audiences to a world of love and kindness.

🌔Moon Thistle weaves together bright guitar melodies and melancholic lyricism, inviting listeners to immerse themselves in a world of atmospheric folk rock. Co-writers Grace De Gruccio (vocals) and Tony Burling (guitar) hope to reach the hearts of the hot & weepy people of Santa Fe.

🗣️Every Monday is Q***r Night at El Rey Court. A portion of sales from La Reina will support Transgender Resource Center of New Mexico. TGRNM provides advocacy, education, and direct services in support of
transgender, gender nonconforming, nonbinary, and gender variant people and their families. 💞

with the contributions from these folks & organizations, as well as individual donors, fundraising events, merch sales, and our afterparty, we raised over $20,000 this year!

where does this money go? 🧐
⭐ the majority goes to paying our performers! each band is paid $75-150 for a full set depending on how many band members they have 🧡
⭐ covering the cost of supplies & rentals! portapotties, sound equipment, merch, food & beverage for our performers and volunteers, etc. 💛
⭐ paying land tax! we set aside 10% of our budget to go towards paying a land tax to a local Indigenous organization. this year, our land tax is going to 💚
⭐ the remaining funding is divided up among our organizers as (very) small stipends for the many many hours they spend organizing! 💜
