Makeup artistry has always been such a creative and playful outlet for me! Playing around with some new clean-er makeup brands & getting back to my makeup artistry roots!! 🌸

Ps I don’t think every part of your makeup routine needs to be non toxic/“clean” but I happen to love some of the new indie brands coming into the scene lately!

For this look I used Big Bang mascara, powder highlight, metallic liner, cream shadow, lip liner, bronzer, brow gel and lipstick!

⭐️ Before: struggling with dermatitis, rosacea intermittently, and some acne from incorrect product use that sadly clogged my pores as well.
⭐️ After: finally finding products that worked to keep my rosacea and dermatitis controlled while not clogging pores contributing to acne, being consistent, eating anti-inflammatory foods, getting adequate sleep and working on meditating more for stress reduction.
⭐️ Is it easy to post pictures of myself when I was struggling not only physically but also mentally and emotionally from feeling the actual pain of my skin being so inflamed as well as wanting to hide from everyone I knew and myself?! No, but I know there are others struggling with skin conditions and if I can give any hope to those who need it, then putting myself out there is worth it 100x over.

I’ll be posting the protocol that helped me heal my skin soon 🤩 it’s a lot simpler then you might think! 💗

Who am I?! ❤️

If you’re new here or don’t know much about me, hello and welcome! ☺️

I’ve been a certified makeup artist for almost a decade (which sounds crazy to me!) after training at MUD in LA. I’m also certified in holistic nutrition, Ayurvedic nutrition, and have my YTT200.

I’ve gone through esthetics school and am currently enrolling for more advanced esthetics training. Skincare/beauty and the science behind skincare/esthetics and ingredients is a HUGE passion of mine and I’m excited to start bringing some of my knowledge here to IG & FB ❤️❤️

If you ever have questions about skincare/skin conditions like rosacea, dermatitis, acne, feel free to send a DM my way. I truly love helping people with this ✨

🌟 Happy Monday Loves 🌟

Sometimes we forget that so much of our skin health comes from the inside! If we aren’t fueling our awesome bods optimally, it can really start to show up on the outside!

Make sure you’re getting your antioxidants in the form of berries especially (they are lower GI as well which prevents insulin spikes that can cause skin flares) as well as leafy greens and cruciferous veggies (helps our liver detox so we don’t detox as much through our skin) AND good fats like avocado as well as chia seeds to flush out normal toxins (fun fact, chia seeds expand and bind to toxins while helping us carry out waste!) 🤓

AND don’t forget to incorporate foods like tomatoes and watermelon especially now as we are in summer as these richly pigmented foods actually help us prevent burning in the sun!! 🌞🌞🌞 (nutrition is awesome friends!)

What are you eating, doing, and loving this Monday?! Let me know below ☺️❤️

Happy Sunday Loves 🌸🌸🌸

Wishing you all a beautiful Sunday and Memorial Day weekend. This weekend can be very difficult for many, so let’s keep acting compassionate and loving towards each other, as we never truly know what each person is going through or what battle they may be fighting.❤️

Sending love your way if this is a difficult time for you, make sure you keep taking care of YOU and doing things that build you up emotionally, physically, and spiritually. 😘❤️❤️

Consuming the correct healthy fats is so so important!! ☺️ There are certain oils our body can process with ease that are nourishing, and some that are oxidized and completely non-nourishing, sometimes called “plastic oils.”

All of these oils are super nourishing, just keep in mind that if you’re prone to high LDL cholesterol/are a hyper responder, coconut oil may not be in your best interest. If this isn’t you, it can be great in moderation 🤗🤓

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions, as always 💕
