One of my favorite parts of doing extensions is the little details you don’t always see at first glance.

For this install, I focused on creating clean, comfortable placement while keeping everything soft and seamless with her natural hair. I love being able to customize every row based on the way someone’s hair grows, where they want fullness, and how they actually wear their hair day to day.

The goal is always for the extensions to feel like her hair not like she’s wearing extensions.

One of the biggest reasons my extension clients are able to go 8+ weeks between move-ups isn’t just because of a quality install. It’s because of the care they put in at home.

An install creates the foundation, but your daily habits determine how well that foundation holds up.

✔️ Brush thoroughly (and often!)
✔️ Sleep with your hair in a loose braid or ponytail.
✔️ Never go to bed with wet hair.
✔️ Use professional products and always apply heat protectant.
✔️ Keep oil on your mids and ends, not at the beads.
✔️ Stay consistent with your maintenance routine.

When we both do our part, your extensions stay secure, your natural hair stays healthy, and your grow-out looks beautiful from day one until your move-up appointment.

One loose bead doesn’t mean your entire row is going to fall out.

One of the most common concerns I hear from extension clients is, “A bead popped out… is my whole row going to come out?”

The answer is almost always no.

An Invisible Bead Extensions® row is built with multiple points of support. Every stitch, bead, and section is placed intentionally and works together to create a secure foundation. Because of that, the row is designed to withstand normal wear and even the occasional popped bead, flipped end, or missing bead without the entire row failing.

While it’s important to let me know if something feels loose or looks different, there’s no need to panic. Most of the time it’s a quick fix, and your extensions are still secure until we can get you in.

Quality extension work isn’t just about beautiful hair, it’s about creating a foundation that’s durable, comfortable, and built to last through everyday life.
