Your maintenance appointments are important, but healthy, long-lasting extensions come from the care you give them every single day. A few simple habits make all the difference:

• Always use a heat protectant before styling
• Apply oil or serum to your mids/ends to keep them hydrated
• Brush thoroughly multiple times a day (especially near the nape)
• Never go to bed with wet hair
• Use a wet brush or extension-safe brush to gently detangle
• Prep your hair before swimming, sauna time, or workouts
• Dry your extensions after sweating, swimming, or getting them damp

Extensions don’t take a ton of extra work but they do need intentional care. The better your at-home routine, the better they’ll look, feel, and last between appointments 💛

This hair is about a year old and was not worn consistently, but you can see how much the color has shifted from the original weft.
