We are a full service, woman-owned, locally grown, Salon & Blowout Bar located in Santa Fe, NM.
We love to educate about lighting and how much it can change hair color
Both of these photos are of the same person literal moments apart. Both of these photos are stunning. Both of these photos were taken and we didn't even see it happen. We rewatched the video while uploading this reel and knew we needed to make a post about it.
Yes, this was is less dramatic IRL but we love opening this conversation about photos and before and afters and how different hair color can look in different lighting
(Our least favorite lighting scenario is sky lights in bathrooms with natural lighting AND overhead lighting, they mess with hair color so much. And theres a huge mirror Right There confusing things even more π )
Our hair has never felt better and we love knowing that we arent bringing endocrine distributors into our beautiful space

We didn't get a ton of video from our 10th birthday party because once these performances were over we didn't even think of the phone for the rest of the night! Everyone that stopped in made it an unforgettable night (and we celebrated for yall that couldn't come)

The closer it gets to the celebration of our 10 years together, the more surreal it feels. For 10 years y'all have trusted us with your hair, you have laughed with us, cried with us, had babies, got married, retired, battled health issues, celebrated victories, went through hand times, had so many incredible moments, had the best conversations, and had the best hair the entire time.
Thank you to everyone for the trust, the collaboration, and the love. We have never taken a moment of it for granted and we will keep that with us for the next 10 π«Ά

We had a new calligraphy artist (who just so happens to be our first employee, our payroll manager, Julianna) handcraft our birthday flier, detailing our 10th birthday party.
