April is Rosacea Awareness Month!

Rosacea is a chronic, inflammatory skin condition that can affect all skin types and present differently in each individual. While some people may only experience redness, others may get acne-like bumps.

There are many great options for treatment including prescription topical medications, oral medications, and even lasers like IPL. We usually recommend IPL treatments every 2-3 months for maintenance so we’re offering a “Buy 2, Get 1 Free” this month! ⚡️

What’s the downtime??

Depending on the setting, downtime can vary. With the Renew settings, you can expect 2-3 days of redness and swelling followed by 3-4 days of flaking. We do not recommend working out for 5-7 days! (We know that’s tough, but it’s worth it 🙂).

Is winter weather leaving your skin feeling dry??

Here are some tips to help:

▪️Use a gentle, creamy cleanser (Cetaphil, Neutrogena Hydroboost, Cerave)
▪️Apply a Hyaluronic acid serum (La Roche Posay B5)
▪️Apply a non-comedogenic moisturizer (Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion, Cerave Moisturizing Cream, Vanicream)
▪️Top off with a non-comedogenic face oil (Rosehip Oil - The Ordinary, Grapeseed Oil - Osea Dayglow)
