Loved doing hair using for event|| 💖

My dear friend and coworker Marcy is an amazingly talented hairstylist, wife and loving mom. But, Marcy also has Synovial Chondromatosis, which is a benign tumor growth in her knee that can cause severe damage to the joints along with extreme pain and immobility. This has been going on a while and she has had surgery on it once before, but the effects of that surgery could only do so much for so long. Now her knee has gotten so bad that she is doing her job with crutches and a knee brace. As a hairstylist, this kind of problem can be detrimental to your job and livelihood. Plus, it is important to note that Marcy is also the sole provider for her family while her amazing husband stays home and raises their son.

At this point the doctors have advised her not to walk or work. But, Marcy has now found out that a new surgery will help, but, as a result, she may have to get a prosthetic leg. The expense of all of this, sadly, is quite extreme, both mentally and financially. As hairstylists a great majority of us don't get sick days or employer health insurance, so this kind of news is the worst kind. Marcy will have to make a huge sacrifice to try and preserve her way of life and career. She is the kindest person I know and I want her to not have to worry about money, so she can focus on her recovery after the surgery.

A medical issue like this can be a serious financial burden on a family. And, as a hairstylist, I know how hard it can be when you have to take that kind of time off for major surgery. Let's try to help Marcy get through this time with a few less bumps in the road. Please donate any amount you can, nothing is too small. Anything that we can do to ease her financial burden will be such a big help to Marcy and her family. Please pass this on to all your friends/hairstylists that you know who would be willing to donate. Thank you so much.
