Throughout the classes Rosalind will guide students through powerful, sweaty, joyful, and elongating movements to physical transformation from a Body'n Soul connection. You will feel like a dancer! Upper body resistance and floor work are added targeting abs and thighs. Morning Essentials: Beginning with waist and a thorough upper body arm work-out this class then moves into ballet style toning and Lotte Burke Method at the barre focusing on legs and thighs. It culminates with a challenging floor core workout targeting abs and b***y. Four square balls & light weights provided. BIO

Rosalind Ruesga-Browne has been exploring and creating an innovative approach to fitness and dance for over twenty-five years. Her mission and passion has been to bring the basic elements of a dance class to every person who walks through the door without the intimidation. 'Everyone can feel like a dancer, can have the long and strong muscles like a dancer' she says. Rosalind's sculpt class integrates body awareness and movement with grace and strength to help participants achieve the body-soul connection utilizing the basic warm up and center floor techniques of ballet, exercise, yoga and modern movement. Think of a long dance warm up peppered with challenging calisthenics and you sum up the feel of the class. A great lover of music, she sets the mood from lively and ethnic to spiritual and sensual combining the full spectrum of todays music. She refers to this as the "soul" part of her class and believes through music she can inspire people to move and be completely unaware they are exercising.. Her training includes modern dance, ballet, African, tap, and jazz. She possesses a natural ability and passion for choreography and spent summers studying with Bella Lewitzky Modern Dance Company in Idyllwild. She also taught and choreographed for a children's dance theater group by the name of 'Wonderland School Of Dance' before becoming the leading studio teacher and director of teaching staff at Main Street Dance in Santa Monica. In August of 1994 she opened 'Body'n Soul by Rosalind' within Dance Home and has been actively keeping up with the changing times by incorporating Pilate's, Lotte Burke Method (barre) and yoga into her routines. She says: "all of us, especially women, must shed old ideas of beauty, and redirect our energy and focus to enhancing our physicality and spirituality by rejecting limitations of our abilities and give rise to the beauty within....we are the new pioneers!"
