Hello July…

The last six months have somehow been the longest yet fastest in recent memory. Does anyone else feel this way? Like…how is it already July, wasn’t it just my birthday?

Nonetheless, I’m excited to see what the second half of the year has in store. ⚡️

Praise be for the World Cup...and live music.

Since moving to LA many years ago, they’ve remained two of my favorite things about this city. This year feels especially electric with LA being a host city ⚽️

People are out and about all day every day. Restaurants are packed. The boardwalk is alive. Patios and parks are full. Concerts are selling out.

Ironically, I’m writing this on the very device that’s made us more “connected” than ever, yet somehow completely disconnected. Walk into almost any coffee shop on a regular Tuesday afternoon and you’ll find a room full of people staring at screens.

But I think something is shifting…

Even businesses are catching on. People aren’t just looking for products anymore. They’re looking for experiences. They’re looking for community.

That’s what I love about the World Cup and live music….when you look around you see JOY. Togetherness. Community.

For a few hours, we’re all part of the same story, and there’s something really beautiful about that.
