When you choose to live from your truth and no one else’s, freedom feels natural. Now, I know from experience this is easy for others to say and for you to feel like it’s impossible to actually do in your life.

So here’s a few simple ways you can begin doing this today:

1️⃣ If someone invites you to do something, before you say yes (on auto-pilot) pause for 10 seconds, close your eyes and feel into your body, breathe, then actively decide if you’re going to say yes, or no.

P.S. “No” is a complete sentence and does not require any explanation. If you feel the need to go further, add a “thank you for the invitation, but I won’t be able to join”

2️⃣ Notice when you jump up to take care of something for someone else, even when nobody asks you to. And then ask, is this something I genuinely want to do, or am I doing it to make others like me?
- No judgement, just notice!

3️⃣ Notice when have you said “no” to something today, then allowed someone else to talk you into it anyway? No need to do anything different right now, just being aware of when this is happening is a pivotal piece.
