Grey days a-head? To color or not to color?

Less than one month away from my 70th and trying to decide. Since September, I have been letting my “natural” highlights grow out. The question now is whether to add low lights, go back to brunette or just embrace a coastal grandma look.

BTW: today is a good day. Other days, add 10 years😬.

Is “adult children” an oxymoron?

The best thing I’ve done in my life is bring this guy into the world.

I’ve moved on from unnecessarily being a helicopter mom (Zack was born with sensibilities that have served him well, even in childhood). I’m beyond proud of the man he has become at age 36. Not only gifted intellect, but emotional IQ that far exceeds mine. He’s an amazing son, father, husband, friend … all the things that really matter in life. And bonus… a successful career and smart investor.

My only complaint? He lives too far away.🏡

I mastered pizza dough, moved on to French bread, so it occurred to me, why not sourdough⁉️

The “why” - my goal of minimizing ultra processed foods in my diet.
The “why not” - discovered sourdough is not just baking … it’s a relationship! 😅

But I finally found a stretch of consecutive days of no travel, tapped Amazon for sourdough jar and proofing basket and started waking up and feeding my tiny packet of starter.

Now I understand why so many people found the covid lockdown the ideal time to take on the challenge.

So now I can enjoy the Gremlin Vines olive oil, wine, eggs or honey along with freshly baked sourdough bread. At least this once😆.
