Being in the styling industry for over 20 years, Fernando specializes in long lasting, voluminous blowouts, precision women cuts and amazing color. He also provides herbal based hair and scalp treatments to rejuvenate hair. He hasn’t forgotten his male clients! Since graduating from the Marin Beauty College in 1992, his passion for hair has taken him all over the North Bay. He perfected his techniques under the guidance of Derek Row at Crimper Salon and the professionals at Elle Lui Hair Salon. In order to stay current and up-to-date, Fernando has studied at the Vidal Sassoon of San Francisco, attended Pravana Advanced Color classes and perfected the Loraine Massey technique for cutting and styling curly hair. Fernando is also very active in the community, donating his time and services to local charities and fundraising for cancer research. In 2011 he used his passion for hair and art to organize his first Fashion show to raise money for the Sloan House, keeping consitant in his annual charity events. Music is a must for Fernando. In his own words, “Music gets my creative mojo flowing.” An eclectic variety of music is always playing while he works. When Fernando isn’t in the salon making masterpieces, you can usually find him pursuing any number of his favorite pastimes like motorcycling, fitness, traveling, or enjoying nature.
