She wanted to completely change her look. To embrace her warmer tones. Instead of the ashy blonde balayage we’ve been doing for the last few years.

She chose this beautiful 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐧𝐮𝐭 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐧
A warm medium brown with red and golden hues.

Fruit Stripe Bubblegum 🩷🌈 who remembers those 🦓

Got to use the prism technique taught at her class last year

Kept the base her usual bubblegum pink, added the prism on top. Creates a fun cascading effect.

Ever wonder why a hair color you love on someone else doesn’t always look the same on you?

A big reason is undertone.

During a color analysis, I determine whether a client’s skin undertone is cool, warm, or neutral. This helps guide which tones will naturally complement their complexion.

❄️ Cool - think pink
☀️ Warm - think red
⚖️ Neutral - a mix
🫒Olive - an overtone not undertone

Understanding undertones helps avoid colors that clash with the skin and instead create tones that enhance it. When the right tone is chosen, the hair color blends beautifully with the client’s natural features and looks much more harmonious.

Usually as hairstylist we use complementary colors to cancel unwanted tones in the hair. With creative colors we can use them to enhance each other.

My goal this year is to add more color into the world with each one of you. Either with a small pop of color, tinsel, or the full shabang🩷
