ππ It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Angus Mitchell, 54, the only son of Paul Mitchell, co-founder and namesake of Paul Mitchell- one of the most iconic professional haircare companies of all time. Angus passed away earlier today in his beloved Hawaii. We would like to share our heartfelt condolences to his incredibly close-knit family including his wife Mara, mother Jolina and his son Dylan. We would also like to send our love to his entire ride or die Paul Mitchell family, especially to John Paul DeJoria, & . Angus was a special person. I know I say this for everyoneβ we will all miss him dearly. & our BTC Team.
It's been a whole year. Well, as of March 1st was anyway. And what was significant about it? Well, I joined a roller-coaster of a journey with a company that feels like they stuffed 5 years worth of things into one. But, nonetheless, through all the dips and curves of the rough ride, I found confidence in my skills and have gained experience in which I was seeking. I also developed clientele who became friends and some of my biggest supporters. Truly without them, my family, and God I don't know where I'd be. Saying that though, there is always room for more learning and this industry is plentiful to those who want it enough. I am not the best but I am better then I was and with time I will become the best of myself. For comparison, when I started out vs. now, is something I find peace in and can laugh about. I shied away at the mention of skin fades because I was intimidated and uncertain of my skill, but now, you'll find I'm the one who looks for the opportunity to do them. It's been a crazy year but a year worth of practice, lots of patience, and passion to keep going. Focusing solely on men's hair has been more fruitful than the scattered everything I was trying to achieve all at once. Here's to another year and the new set of developed skills that are to come! (Sorry for the lack of progress photos but social media and posting is a topic of focus that'll be practiced more this year hopefully. Lol)

Had a special guest come in the other day! Said he had a date with his high school obsession. (I'm sure he meant high school sweetheart..) Said it was going to be a killer time!

Big thank you to my favorite customer and model; my Dad! He and I joked about the concept of Michael getting ready for the premiere of Halloween Ends and then the next day decided to bring the idea to life. Think it came out pretty funny!

Another satisfied customer! But let me tell you, this man is more than just a customer, he is a WWII veteran that's just as sharp at 99 with a great head of hair! Due to privacy reasons I cannot say who or what he did, but it was something that would help change the course of history during '45. Just another reason why it was an honor to give him a good clean up!

I missed so here's a instead. Lol This was right out of Cosmetology school when I had decided that men's hair, and womens updo's, were what I wanted to focus on the most. Since then, speed, quality and confidence have greatly improved. Before and after photos aren't just for promotion, it's reflections of where you started and the progress you make along the way!

So, this was an accidental updo... I was in the process of prepping , for her wig styling, when I braided her hair and simply pinned it up. Then I kinda laughed and thought what would happen if we threw some flowers into it? And thus making a quick, romantic, and soft, updo that's easy enough for last mintue date nights or those "while you're still here" bridal friends!
