Yes thatโs right you can absolutely get waxed while pregnant. Youโre likely to experience more discomfort than usual. Do to swelling and hormonal changes from the pregnancy.
Ideally I like to stick to the rule of going over the skin with wax only one time during your session, while being further into your pregnancy trimesters. Do to the fact that the skin is highly sensitive and overly stretched out, causing it to be transparent and thin. Going over the area multiple times will cause the skin to lift and tear.
Your wax specialist may ask to tweeze any extras left behind, as long as you can tolerate it
I highly recommend you seeing a very experienced wax specialist during your pregnancy. This is very important and crucial to your visit going smooth. With the least amount of discomfort during and after your waxing session.

For starters, there might be some temporary redness, bumps, or itching.
These side effects are usually temporary and fade within a few hours. In some cases, they may last 1 to 2 days.
The area will likely be slightly irritated afterward, so you might want to avoid deodorant for the first 24 hours.
Wait 72 hours to resume exfoliating 2-3x a week after a fresh wax.
Results should last 2-3 weeks!

You may not get the best results on your first wax especially if you recently shaved.
๐ Allow a solid 2-3 weeks for hair to fully hit its growth cycle. That way the wax has something to grip on.
๐ EXFOLIATE & HYDRATE!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! It will make each of your wax experiences quick, efficient and the least painful.
๐Failure to do so will cause hairs to snap and break not allowing hair to be expelled down to the root. You will also start to experience ingrown hairs and harsh breakouts.
๐ Every 4 to 5 weeks you should be returning to stay on a most skin beneficial regimen.
