Melanie came in with severely damaged, dry, and broken hair. She hadn’t had highlights for 6 months and also used a box lightener on her roots to try and brighten what had become dark. This turned into a bronze, copper color.

When deciding whether to do a balayage or a highlight, I decided a highlight so that we could get the lift we needed on where the box color had infiltrated her hair cuticle.

However, we needed to do a treatment on her hair to help heal the hair cuticle and keep the integrity of the hair. Out of the 15+ treatments that we offer, we decided to do the Rewind treatment by Brazilian Blowout. Brazilian Blowout REWIND takes years off of hair utilizing clinically proven actives combined with isolated plant proteins to effectively rebuild each strand from the inside out, restoring the look, feel, and manageability of glossy, resilient, noticeably more youthful hair. It also creates softness to coarse gray hair.

After a full highlight, shadow root gloss, and an ashy ends gloss formula [see gloss formula below⬇️⬇️⬇️], we achieved a beautiful, dimensional blonde. My guest was overjoyed with the fact that even though she was not in good hair hands in her past, I was able to create the exact look she wanted, while restoring the health and beauty of her hair.

Root Gloss: 10g 7N, 10g 6GI, 7g 7P (left on for 5 minutes)
Ends Gloss: 10g 10VG, 10g 9 V, 5g 9GI, splash 9AA (left on for 10 minutes)
Total gloss was brushed through and on for 15 minutes.
