Frankie wants you guys to know I’m no longer working from home! Most of you know I retired from doing hair a year ago, BUT I’m somewhat back!! After a long break & re-evaluation of life and my love for animals have guided me to dog grooming. I’ve accepted an awesome opportunity with See Spot in Lakewood Ranch and am learning so much and taking on a new adventure. As of now, I am just bathing pups while going through the training and certification program which will include hands on. I’m learning so much and hope to share tips as I learn and will be taking new clients in a few months. I am looking for a hairstylist, preferably someone who is established, to share a salon suite. These are luxury suites inside Salons by JC located in downtown Sarasota. This location includes many benefits and amenities that make running your business so much easier.
• Everyone in the building Is super friendly and professional.
• 24-hour access to the building and the suite.
• Front desk concierge that greets and direct clients.
• A beautifully designed waiting area for clients as well as a processing room.
• Community break room that is great to network with other operators complete with coffee/espresso machine and microwave.
• Staff on site that does laundry and keeps all common areas clean. NO NEED TO DO YOUR OWN TOWELS!
Our suite is the first one off the main entrance and has large windows looking out to Central Ave. Includes 1 styling chair, shampoo bowl, heat lamps, mini fridge and our own climate control.

Anyone interested must be clean and professional. We split the rent and space 50/50 each paying $250 a week. Scheduling of specific days can be negotiated.

Balayage. What is it? French for “sweeping” & is a highlighting or low lighting technique. I learned balayage when I first started doing hair in 2007. It is traditionally used with a brush & paddle (which I use) although, different forms have been created. Many use the word “ombré” which is actually a technique using balayage. This is one of my favorite things to do. If you’ve been in my chair, I’m sure you’ve noticed that I am extremely meticulous. I love this for natural looks & that I have more control to place the highlights exactly where I want them. As soon as someone sits in my chair my brain can’t help but think of where a highlight needs to go. This super cool hot chick with the mane.I have to say I can nail face framing layers (which I’m proud of). Everybody needs them no matter the length of your hair. The layers can be long to pull back or then can be blended from a bang. THE most important thing is that the layers are soft, blended with weight removed.
