Did you know our shine shampoo powder gets its beautiful color from Rhassoul Clay?

While you might think to associate clay with drying, it is actually extremely conditioning and provides a slip-like feeling (think of how it feels working with wet pottery) that acts as a natural conditioner, makes your hair soft, and gives it a glossy sheen. Rhassoul clay in particular comes from Morocco and comes from the Arabic word meaning “to wash”. It has been used for centuries in many cultures as an ingredient for skin and hair care.

Each of our 3 varieties of shampoo powders is made with a different type of clay, and it’s one of the reasons many customers report that they don’t need to use a conditioner after shampooing with Mirage!
