A simple brow tint can’t make all the difference ❤️

I remember ordered 10 lbs of wax and a box of both large and small waxing sticks and feeling like I just jumped in and made a big investment- I had no idea how long 10 lbs of wax was going to last let alone if I was even going to have enough people to use it all. Now even with hybrid waxing and incorporating soft wax as well in my studio a 10 lb wax bag lasts me approximately a week. To say I am blown away by that is an understatement. I feel incredibly blessed with new and returning ladies who share glimpses of their lives with me. In less than a year in and having just under 100 5 star reviews in less than a year in business, is something I don’t and won’t ever take lightly. Thank you to all wonderful ladies who’ve trusted me for their services 💕

Hi, I’m Nikki!

If you’re new here, I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself.

I’m the owner of Bare & Bloom Wax Studio, a licensed cosmetologist, wife, mom, animal lover, and the woman usually covered in either wax, dirt, dog hair, or all three at once. 🤎

When I’m not in the studio helping women feel confident and comfortable in their own skin, you’ll usually find me outside with my horses, goats, ducks, dogs, and whatever other animal has found its way into my life.

I started Bare & Bloom with a simple goal: to create a space where women feel welcomed, respected, and cared for without judgment or pressure. Whether you’re coming in for your first brow wax, a Brazilian, or just some time for yourself, I want you to feel like you’re visiting a friend.

Over the last year, Bare & Bloom has grown beyond anything I imagined, and I am so grateful for every client who has trusted me, referred a friend, left a review, or supported this dream.

✨ Today reminded me why I started Bare & Bloom.

I had the honor of spending time with the incredible women at The Arc of Rensselaer County, talking about self-care, confidence, and beauty. We shared laughs, answered questions, and many of the women experienced eyebrow waxing for the very first time.

Beauty services are often seen as a luxury, but everyone deserves the chance to feel cared for, confident, and seen. Thank you to The Arc for welcoming me and allowing me to be a small part of such a special day. 💛

My favorite part of brow art is delivering what the client wants 💕 before starting a tint appointment I always ask if there’s anything they do or don’t like about their current brows so I have an idea. This client likes a more distinct arch and a thinner brow. With mapping before tint application she was able to see what shaping would look like before proceeding. Swipe for the before ❤️❤️
