Fall colors are bursting in many areas! We took the drone up Tuesday 9/29/26 around 4pm in one of our favorite places, Mission Hill near Brimley overlooking Monocle Lake, Spectacle Lake and Whitefish Bay. The colors are just amazing looking as an eagle would fly! Make sure you explore all of the Eastern U.P. in the coming week and check out the colors and post your pictures on our social media pages! We will be out and about too!

The 2026 Chippewa County Walk for Warmth, powered by Albert Heating & Cooling, takes place on Saturday, October 3, at the Avery Center. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m., and the walk starts at 11 a.m.

We finish our 3 day fall itinerary in Sault Ste. Marie with paddling to and around Voyageur Island.
While in Sault Ste. Marie this fall, head to Rotary Park and watch the freighters pass by.
