1. Exfoliate.

Please don’t skip this. I can’t hide texture. Think about painting a wall. The texture doesn’t go away, the color of the wall just changes. Makeup is the same way. If you want a smooth, glowy base, your skin has to be smooth first. And not only that but applying makeup can actually make texture look worse.

2. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.

Even if you have oily skin. If your skin is dehydrated it will drink up all of your makeup and it won’t lay well and it won’t last. I can give you hydration in the prep but if your skin is truly dehydrated that’ll be gone in no time and we’ll be back to where we started.

3. Dermaplane.

The difference in your makeup will genuinely shock you. It removes the dead skin and little hairs so everything just lays on fresh skin. Your skin will glow before we even apply makeup. Trust me on that one.
