I have prayed over whether to post this here, and felt called upon to share.
My heart is heavy over the passing of Charlie Kirk, I've never shed tears over someone I didn't personally know. Erika's statement to her daughter about her daddy being on a business trip with Jesus absolutely BROKE me.
I grieve that violence continues to darken our world— evil never brings victory, only sorrow.
Scripture calls us to be more like Christ: to meet hatred with steadfast love and to shine light where darkness tries to rejoice.
Tragedy should never be compared or diminished; every life is precious in God’s eyes.
May we honor this moment by turning to prayer, offering comfort to the grieving, and living as peacemakers in a world that so desperately needs His grace.
