When you’re looking at surgical before & afters, timing matters! 📸 📅 With a deep plane facelift, anything before 3 months is still an early result. There’s still swelling present, and it can actually add fullness that some patients end up missing once everything settles.
Even after that 3-month mark, the face will continue to soften and settle over time.
And this isn’t just true for facelifts. Rhinoplasty patients know this VERY well 😂 Swelling can stick around for months, especially in the tip.
So when you’re looking at before & after photos, don’t just look at the result. Look at when the photo was taken.
