When you hear grey blending you may think that means just 1 option, highlights. Maybe you’ve tried this method, maybe you loved it, maybe you weren’t feeling it. I’m here to tell you it’s not the only option and it’s not what works for everyone! Here’s a few other ways to work with your grey:
1) Lowlights. This offers a soft grow out, dimension and an overall look of a beautiful blonde appearance, making your grey appear as a beautiful blonde highlight. (Both these lovely clients pictured have lowlights!)
2) Demi color. This is a great option when you love to be darker! This offers you to get your rich color, but still maintaining dimension (highs and lows) in your hair! As it grows out it fades to a lighter shade over 8-10 weeks so the line is much softer where your grow out meets the color.
3) Gloss. This is great for someone with not so stubborn grey that may just have a few greys sprinkled within their hair. A gloss is a demi color that has conditioning benefits! It will help give a slight color to your grey so they appear more as a natural highlight in your hair!
4. The highlight. This can be done in many different ways to help you achieve your end goal. It can be paired with any of the above as well! This is also a great option for those with a sprinkling of grey that they want to appear as a highlight.
