June is the owner of Acapello and Mensroom, and the reason any of us get to do what we love every day. Thirty one years of building a salon family that actually feels like one, four Acapello locations across Southern Maine, Mensroom in downtown Portland, and a team of stylists she's mentored into the artists they are now.

🌟 BIG NEWS! 🌟 Our amazing owners, June and David, just got back from Austin, Texas, where they proudly accepted a huge honor: Acapello Salons has been officially named one of the Top 200 Salons in the US again by 🇺🇸💇‍♀️✨

We are beyond thrilled and incredibly grateful for this recognition. This award belongs to our hardworking team who brings their passion every day, and to our wonderful guests who trust us with their hair and wellness journeys. Allison Gordon took home the People’s Choice award this year for this fashion color she called Pink Cheetah. The look: magenta base, violet depth, leopard shapes placed at the nape so they show when her hair is up. The kind of color that doesn’t happen by accident - design, technique, and a guest who trusts her colorist. Congratulations, Allison.
