Attention Car lovers!! On October 4th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. WRVC is hosting a Car Show! If you want to compete for Best Classic or Best Sports Car, it is a $5 entry fee. If you want the PREMIUM Package (which includes entry fee, Automotive Swag and ONE FREE meal) the cost is $25. Register when you arrive! We will be having a cookout with food available for purchase! CLOSE SHAVE: More than 120,000 beauty school students could lose access to federal financial aid after a federal advisory panel voted 9-3 to deny renewed recognition to the accreditor overseeing roughly 1,300 cosmetology institutions.

Trump's Education Department has not made a final decision, but the recommendation puts schools that train cosmetologists, estheticians and other beauty professionals in limbo — even though the case has nothing to do with the DEI fight Trump targeted in his April executive order.

Students have launched a petition asking the department to allow a monitored improvement period instead of pulling recognition entirely.
