Today my heart is so full. ❤️

Watching my senior students from the Westbrook Regional Vocational Center Cosmetology Program prepare to walk into the world as future beauty professionals has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Over these past two years, I have watched them grow from nervous students into talented, confident, compassionate young professionals with dreams bigger than they even realize.

People see the finished hair, makeup, nails, and smiles… but I have had the privilege of seeing the late nights, the frustrations, the tears, the self-doubt, the determination, and the moments they almost gave up but kept going anyway. I have watched them encourage one another, cheer each other on, and slowly discover who they are becoming.

The beauty industry is so much more than hair. It is connection, confidence, healing, creativity, and human touch. These students are entering the world with the ability to make people feel beautiful, seen, and valued — and that is a gift.

To my seniors: I hope you know how proud I am of every single one of you. You have left fingerprints on my heart forever. No matter where life takes you, never forget where you started, how hard you worked, and how capable you truly are.

The future of the beauty industry is bright because of all of you. ✨
