Shear Precision wants to ensure the health and safety of our clients , staff and community - we believe it is our responsibility to provide a safe,sanitized and comfortable environment for all.
We want to provide you with the procedures and protocols we have in place to guarantee a safe Re-opening as we continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic. We will do everything we can to keep our staff and clients safe. In doing so we wanted to share the decisions we’ve made during this time in accordance with state regulations and guidelines for reopening.
We will be seeing clients by appointment only - the goal is to limit the amount of people in the salon at any given time. Spacing between people in salon will be 6 feet apart except when we are are servicing clients. To do this we will modify appointments schedules accordingly and only use every other station to ensure social distancing.

Preparing for appointment
1 - Face mask must be worn in salon at all times- ear loops are best for all services
2 - Since everything you bring in salon must stay on your person we ask you to limit it to arrive with only your personal device ,keys and form of payment. (Coats /jackets/umbrellas are to stay with you as there will be no closet use and hanging hooks at this time.)
3 - Arrive no more then 10 min. before your appointment as designated waiting areas will no longer be available. You will be asked to call salon to let us know you are here and wait outside or in your car until your hairdresser is ready for you.
4 - Attend appointment alone - friends,family members ,children are asked to stay home or remain in vehicle***the only exception will be those clients that require assistance entering and exiting salon***

***Blow dry/set services will be very limited the first few weeks as we are trying to accommodate everyone ***

**Waxing services are temporarily unavailable on lip area **

Arriving for appointment
1 - You will be asked to fill out a short client health form as you enter salon
***It is expected that if you are having symptoms including a temperature or have been in contact with someone who’s had symptoms,within 24 hours of your appointment- you will need to reschedule as per CDC requirements***
2-Expect to have your temperature taken upon entering- we will have contactless thermometer to check temperature of every staff member and client that enters salon. Any staff or client with temperature of above 100.4 degrees will be sent home and asked to reschedule appointment when fever no longer exists.
3 - Please use hand sanitizer upon arrival -this will be available on every station and throughout the salon
4- Outside food or drink will not be permitted in salon at this time. ***Coffee and magazines will temporarily be unavailable ***

During your appointment
1 - Haircut clients will be provided with a clean / sanitized neck towel and cape.
2 - Color clients will be provided with clean robe, towel and cape.
3 - If you wish to purchase product our staff will prepare it for you and have it ready at the end of your service.

After your appointment
1 - Please be prepared to pay for your service in the chair your service was done to limit front desk interactions.

Our staff will
1 - Wear a mask at all times
2 - Wear a face shield at sink when washing your hair /removing color
3- Wash hands before and after every appointment
4 - Clean and disinfect all tools before and after every appointment
5 - Clean and sanitize their chair and station before and after every appointment
6 - Sanitize hands throughout the services
7 - Stay home if they are sick or not feeling well

We are excited & very hopeful for a possible salon reopening soon!
As we await further information related to new industry guidelines,restrictions & protocols to reopening our top priority still remains the health and safety of our staff & our clients.
