January Strength Training days will be Wednesday & Friday from 7-8pm at Thunderbird High School. February will most likely move to Monday & Wednesday nights to better prep athletes for weekend track meets.
**Strength Training is for ages 11+. Please email me if interested in joining. Athletes will get onboarded during select training phases to ensure proper training and coaching for all athletes
Jump days for will be before from 5:30-6:45. Please show up to jump practices 5-10 minutes early to assure warm ups are started ON TIME.
For athletes going to both bobcats practice and the strength training I will provide light snacks to eat in the 15 minute gap while we go over lifts for the day. If athletes have allergies or food restrictions please bring own snacks with.

Fix landings with this drill
Need one shortened pool noodle
Hav athlete high knee run with noodle overhead through take off. Once in the air bring legs around to landing position and kick noodle out of hands
What to watch for:
1. Athlete needs to fully complete take off before bringing legs through for a landing. Aka jump before landing. If athlete is leaning back in landings after the kick out there is a strong chance they didn’t finish the take off first.
2. Athlete must kick noodle out of hands not throw it out while swinging legs down. Purpose of the drill is to get athletes to finish landings all the way through
Once the drill is mastered remove the pool noodle and have athletes replicate without it.

Triple Jump Camp Sunday November 23
This 2 hour camp is limited to 12 athletes and is for intermediate level jumpers and above. This camp IS NOT for beginners
This is the first time I am hosting a camp dedicated to my vet triple jumpers. I will be teaching Drills & Skills for the athlete to use throughout the season.
If you are a triple jumper who has felt stuck, only knows how to do short approach and full jumps for drills, or wants to sharpen your form before indoor season than this is for you!!
