I may not have gotten to spend the rest of my life with my dad but I find peace in knowing how proud he was of me before his passing. I also find peace in knowing how full his life was and how joyful he was before he left this physical world. It’s still so hard, the grieving process. But for me, trying to find peace in the little and big things, seems to help bring more acceptance to the whole thing. I will never stop grieving because I will always love and love him big. And I am totally ok with that fact. This has been by far the hardest process of my life. But it’s showing me how strong I am. I never thought I could make it through something this tragic. I never imagined anything like this ever happening, until it did. I miss your voice dad. I miss your sound advice. I miss your love. But I feel your energetic presence with me always.
