Ever feel like massage helps for a few days… and then the same tightness comes right back? That’s where my therapeutic bodywork can be different.
I work with the body, not against it, using comfortable positioning and subtle movements to help support ease, relaxation, and better movement.
Curious if this is right for you?
Send me a DM to ask me what a first session is like.

I’ve seen a lot of misinformation online claiming that Power Plate and inexpensive “jiggle” boards are the same. Let’s clear up some of the confusion. 👇
They may look similar at first glance, but how they move—and how you use them—makes a difference.
✨ THE MOVEMENT
Power Plate is medical-grade and creates small, controlled vibrations in three directions to help activate your muscles.
Many inexpensive oscillating boards move like a seesaw, with one side rising as the other lowers.
Both may be advertised as “vibration plates,” but they deliver different movement patterns.
⚙️ THE SETTINGS
There’s more to a vibration platform than how intensely it shakes. These details matter:
• How quickly the platform moves
• How far it moves with each vibration
• How long you use it
• Which exercises or positions you choose
More shaking doesn’t automatically mean better results. And a long list of “speed levels” doesn’t tell you everything about a machine’s capabilities.
💪 THE MUSCLE RESPONSE
Whole-body vibration provides a stimulus that your muscles respond to while you hold a position or perform an exercise.
Your posture, knee bend, and movement choices influence how that vibration travels through your body.
That’s why the equipment and the way you use it deserve equal attention.
🦴 THE BONE HEALTH QUESTION
Research on structured whole-body vibration programs has found improvements in strength and some measures of bone density in certain populations.
But those results depend on the person, equipment, and training program.
Simply standing on any vibrating board doesn’t guarantee the same benefits.
🤎 WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU
When comparing a Power Plate with an inexpensive board, look beyond their appearance or price.

Over 50% of my practice is working with frozen shoulder and shoulder tension.
Frozen shoulder can make everyday movements like reaching overhead, getting dressed, or sleeping comfortably feel frustratingly difficult.
With Ortho-Bionomy®, I use gentle positioning and movement to work with the body rather than forcing the shoulder through painful ranges. The goal is to help reduce protective tension, improve comfort, and support easier movement over time.
Deeper pressure does not always mean better results. Sometimes the body responds best when we give it a chance to soften.
If your shoulder feels stuck, guarded, or like it just won’t loosen up, there may be another approach worth exploring.

Cupping therapy can look intense, but the goal is actually pretty simple: help areas of the body that feel tight, sore, or restricted.
The gentle suction increases blood flow to the area and can help decrease muscle tightness, ease discomfort, and improve range of motion.
And yes — those circular marks afterward are normal and typically fade within a few days.
If chronic tension keeps coming back, cupping may be one more way to help your body move a little easier.

3 Gentle Techniques for Releasing Rib Pain 💙
Your ribs are involved in every breath you take, every twist, and so many everyday movements. When they become restricted, you may notice tension in places you wouldn't expect.
Here are a few simple self-release techniques I often share with clients to help encourage easier movement and greater comfort.
Remember: move slowly, stay comfortable, and never force a stretch. Your body responds best when it feels safe.
Have you ever noticed tightness through your ribs or mid-back?

Feeling tired all the time isn't always about getting more sleep.
Chronic fatigue can be connected to how your body is moving, adapting, and holding tension. When the fascia becomes restricted, it can affect movement, increase strain on muscles, and keep the nervous system in a constant state of stress.
My focus is on helping your body release those patterns through approaches like Myofascial Release, Ortho-Bionomy®, and nervous system support so your body can function with greater ease.
Every person's experience is different, but sometimes the missing piece isn't pushing harder—it's helping your body move and recover differently.
💬 Wondering if fascial restrictions could be contributing to how you feel?

Many people think chronic tension is simply a result of stress, poor posture, or overuse. While those factors can play a role, tension often becomes a pattern that the body learns and holds onto over time.
When muscles, fascia, and the nervous system adapt to these patterns, discomfort can persist even after the original cause is gone.
That's why stretching, massage, or rest may only provide temporary relief.
Gentle bodywork approaches such as Ortho-Bionomy®, Myofascial Release, and KST work with the body's natural ability to recognize and release these deeply held patterns. By addressing the underlying tension rather than just the symptoms, it's possible to experience greater comfort, ease of movement, and a renewed sense of well-being.
If you've been living with chronic tension, your body may be communicating something deeper. Listening to those signals can be the first step toward lasting change.

Ever feel like massage helps for a few days… and then the same tightness comes right back? That’s where therapeutic bodywork can be different.
I’m not just working on the “tight spot.” I’m paying attention to how your body is moving, where it’s guarding, and what might be keeping you stuck in the same pain or tension pattern.
It’s gentle, individualized, and designed to work with your body instead of forcing it. Message me or visit my website to book a session.
