Magnesium is seriously a magical mineral!
Magnesium plays many crucial roles in the body, such as supporting muscle and nerve function and energy production. It also helps relieve sore muscles and can help you sleep better. It could also aid in weight loss!
I recently discovered this magnesium oil spray and apply it to my arms, legs and torso before bed!
Anyone else have experience with magnesium?! Let me know what you think!💕

Heat protectants are SO important!!!! I can’t stress this enough! Would you ever take a pan out of the oven without a mitten on? No! ❌ So don’t use a heat styling tool without first applying a barrier-a heat protectant! They are the key to preventing damage and dryness.

Use one before blow drying, and then reapply before using your styling tool.

I love using either Aveda speed of light or Matrix Heat Buffer before blow drying, followed by Amika Heat Protectant Serum before using my curling iron or flat iron. Matrix Heat Buffer gives a little hold so it’s great when roundbrushing! I like using a serum on dry hair because you don’t have to wait for it to dry, and you don’t chance burning your hair. If you do use a liquid heat protectant on dry hair make sure it dries before using your styling tool, we don’t want to hear that sizzle noise of your hair burning🔥

Traditional highlights will forever have my heart and be my favorite thing to do😍
On Aneisa I alternate between a high lift foil and a bleach foil to give her some blonde variation. One comes up a little bit darker and a little more golden while the bleach foil is more platinum. This gives her that beautiful, natural looking dimensional blonde!

Let’s talk mascne! (Mask acne)
I was struggling with breakouts from wearing a mask long hours on my cheeks and chin. I talked to my amazing dermatologist and she suggested wiping my face with one of these salicylic and glycolic toning pads mid shift. Let me tell you, they are magic! I haven’t had a breakout since! It’s so important to exfoliate and cleanse the skin, especially when we’re wearing these masks.

Also, she suggested using a silk mask. Waiting for them to come in but I’ll keep y’all updated! We know how great a silk pillowcase is so a silk mask makes sense!✨
