TIPS ON HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR BRIDAL TRIAL! 1. Please make sure your hair is done. It’s nice to see how a full complete glam will look like before the big day. Often times I see brides come in with a bun or hair not done. The makeup will look a lot more appealing with your hair done. Talk with your hair stylist so that both of our schedules collide and we can create the perfect look. 2. Wearing white to your trial is such an important factor. It helps tie in the look and see what the makeup looks like against your skin. It gives that illusion of your wearing your dress. Don’t come in wearing patterns or colors that will distract your makeup. It will throw you off. 3. I cannot stress the important of taking care of your skin before your big day. I always recommend starting monthly facials with your esthetician at least 6-9 months prior to your wedding. This helps with skin texture, getting rid of any acne if you have any, brighten and tone the skin, and making sure you’re glowing when it’s time for glam. So make sure you come into your trial with a fresh clean face and skin moisturized. Don’t worry, we will add more hydration! Skin prep is 🔑 4. Please please please bring us some inspo photos. We want all the details. Know what you want and what vibe you’re going for. We need to know if you want a matte look, or if we’re adding in some shimmer. Have an idea of what colors you have in mind. We cannot read your mind, so we’ll be asking a ton of questions and getting to know each-other a little better during your trial. Try and select a photo for reference from your artists page. You chose them for a reason, find something you like on their page. If not, that’s totally okay..we love Pinterest too. 5. Be picky, you’re allowed to try things and if you happen to not like the way they look..that’s ok! It’s a trial for a reason. We may not always get it right the first time around, but we will make sure it’s perfect when we’re done.
