Hi there! I thought I’d do a little post and introduce myself! My name is Madelyn, but most people call me Maddy! I have been a licensed hairdresser since 2011, and currently work in old town Scottsdale. I work with my aunt, who raised me from my teenage years till now. She is why I got into hairdressing and why am where I am in my life. I have nothing but sisters, who I love more than anything in this world. We did not grow up in a good house, but they made it a home for me. I have an incredibly patient husband who I have been married to since 2020. He makes me laugh, makes me smile, and makes me feel so overwhelmingly loved. My birthday is October 30th, so I am a die hard fan of all things spooky. It’s basically half my personality. I love to watch anime, play video games, read, and do crafts. My clients tell me often that I’m not just a hairdresser to them, I am someone they feel comfortable with. Someone they enjoy spending time with, even just chatting. This makes what I do worthwhile. I love all my clients and hope to keep doing hair many years to come. This is 35. 🎂

Getting ready for fall with a rich brown and some ribbons of blonde!

One of my all time favorite products, Kenra’s Blow Dry Spray! This product is my holy grail for faster blowouts. It smells citrusy with added bergamot and vanilla hints, which is seriously like perfume for your hair. I love the added benefit of heat protection to keep your ends safe from the iron and blow dryer.

My favorite root lifting spray! It is the most user friendly solution for flat hair; it’s a point and shoot volumizer! Can be used on wet dry hair, simply spray in sections by your roots and blow dry upward (or flip your head over and blow down, whatever you’re feeling) and get some nice lift without the stiffness!
