Can you dermaplane at home? Yes and no! Because the face has many curves and corners it’s almost impossible to go the right depth and safely remove dead skin without leaving your face with a ton of tiny cuts. In reality, the at home dermaplaning is superficial and is only shaving vellus hair, also known as peach fuzz! If facial hair removal is your goal, I’d recommend waxing for many reasons. If your skin is too sensitive to regular strip waxing, i would try hard wax, also called “stripless wax”. Also make sure your wax technician checks the temperature and is using a wax specifically for sensitive skin. 👌
