When you can’t make a choice, choose both because adulting is hard

We PLAYED HAIR👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 it had been 4 months since we had a salon session and she had been doing some at home maintenance in between. NOT THIS TIME. We are going back to grey blending with highlights so we had to do a big hair appointment in the salon.

When she said write this color down i laughed, because from where she started to where we went is literally a one time magical session that you can’t duplicate if we tried. Hehe. I haven’t stopped thinking about this transformation because I LOVE how it turned out… and so does she ✨🫶🏼🩷

Had a client who always gets the coolest stuff when she cleans out estates or just knows people. These are all vintage straight razors. She said “idk what you could do with them but immediately thought of you…” bam- my dream of spelling out my buisness name with tools of the trade for a shadow box has been fulfilled 🪒✨🫶🏼 thank you Kim

I have been noticing some dry flakey scalps and dandruff 😱🤗 welcome to the winter season in Az- cold mornings and evenings mixed with warm temps during the day. It’s dry and our scalps (and skin) are trying to figure out how to act 🤌🏼

Do we produce oil or stop?! Are you going to exfoliate and hydrate- help me balance?!?

Here are my favorite tips:
1. Double shampoo to really get the build up of oils, products and skin off, allow those baby hairs to poke through the surface instead of clogging that follicle.

2. Do not go to bed with wet hair- use a brush (extra exfoliation as your brush) and blow it dry (i know it’s extra work) don’t let the extra moisture sit on your scalp it can brew a ye**ty mess on the scalp and make the dandruff progress. It is ok if you need to use head and shoulders or T gel to medicate that itch.

3. Use conditioner to hydrate those ends and a leave in conditioner before blowing dry. Give those ends some help maintaining moisture as your scalp figures out its life
