I haven’t always been healthy. It’s been an up-and-down roller coaster of gaining weight and losing weight, usually in 10-30 pound increments
What most of us think, myself included, is “good shape” is a certain pants size, a certain body type or a number on the scale
Even when I was a certain body size, I was a binge eater. That wasn’t sustainable and I eventually gained weight. Then I struggled with binge eating and over eating
I struggled with poor body image and feeling like I had to be perfect or like I would never get the guy, get the job or get a pay raise. I attached my self-worth to my body image
Now, I support and practice a strong and healthy mindset. This has strengthened my body image, my self worth and self acceptance.
I am so fortunate that I get to share this with other women! i love doing what I do because it’s so rewarding to see the benefit other women receive by changing daily habits and mindset.
I love the added benefit of weight loss, self love and self acceptance. I’m lucky enough to witness that!

Enjoy food and treats.
Love your body more ♥️
Love it in a way that you are *allowed* to have treats and at the same time providing nourishment to honor your body

The diet culture sets you up to fail with rules and restrictions to follow. Saying you need tons of protein and workouts as well as to avoid carbs and never enjoy treats
I use to follow this and I thought I was on the right track but I found myself working out to “make up” for eating “bad” the previous day. I found myself being deprived and over eating all the things since I never had it in my house or anywhere I went.
Healthy, for me, was so distorted because I was all in. Drinking protein shakes, timing my meals and very rigid with working out and food. It came before ALL of life.
I did not eat carbs in the form of bread, grains, whole foods and certainly not chips, cookies or cake. I became carb sensitive so when I actually ate carbs I got bloated and gained weight.
I literally thought I was carb sensitive… because I was…. Because I was carb depleted which depletes glycogen stores in the muscles. When I (or anyone) eats carbs after being depleted, the glycogen goes back into our body making it look like we gained weight.
Treats? Forget it! Nothing in my house EVER. I may have had a cookie every couple months but not likely.
This type of deprivation causes people to overeat when they finally get their hands on something… myself included. I don’t want to live my life like that. I did for a while. All in (healthy or so-called) and then all out (ate all the s**t) for a while.
I am not as lean as I was before but I am healthier than ever!
I can’t curl my hair! 😝😳
Willpower comes and goes(like motivation). Wouldn’t it be nice to “turn it on” whenever you want?!
What if you can? Do you think that’s possible?

My favorites for protein are lean meats such as chicken or turkey breast as well as seafood and fish
I eat and recommend including high fat meats in moderation as well. The body uses and needs fats from these meats and I usually have them once or twice a week or every other week. High fat meats include rib eye, salmon, chicken or turkey thigh and even though they should be enjoyed moderately, they are still useful for health purposes
Plain Greek yogurt or cottage cheese are great snack ideas and I like to have these combined with a fruit like blueberries, strawberries or pineapple.
Nut butters are amazing with apples, celery and pear. My personal favorite is cashew butter but almond and other nut butters are great. They are healthy fats too so, again, the body needs it. It is high in fat so if you are keeping an eye on your weight or looking to reduce it, it is best in moderation.
Accountability is a way to help you avoid distractions preventing you from reaching and/or working on your goal
🌟
Distractions are nonproductive and get in the way
🌟
Being accountable for your outcome lessens distractions and assist you in “keeping your eye on the prize” or your goals
🌟
What’s amazing about accountability is that it also increases your confidence!

Have you ever eaten super clean for a period of time and then fell off the wagon? I have!
-
When I fell off, it was off for a looong time. Eating all the crap... and lots of it. Then I got mad at myself and started over

It’s a vicious cycle and overcoming it is possible!
