Should we bring spray tanning back to Rebel Salon?!

Over the last few years, I have tried to absorb some of the inflated cost to keep things comfortable and affordable for my client. While this may have kept things comfortable for everyone else, it may be the very undoing of my personal success. I am not seeking your sympathy, just your understanding of why small business owners are struggling to keep up.

2023 will be my lowest profiting year on record. Because I thought if I raised my prices I’ll lose my clients. And the harsh reality now, if I don’t raise my prices, I will lose my business and my career.

I know there are so many people struggling in our current economic state, but I am too. I feel for you truly.

The beauty industry isn’t for the faint of heart. There’s no PTO, vacation time, sick days, medical benefits. All of those expenses are paid out of pocket.
This winter has been brutal on my children as far as illness. We haven’t caught a break, causing my workload to suffer, which means no pay. I knew when I became a mother that this would have an impact on my career. I always prioritize my family first.
I am thankful for my many incredible clients who are so dearly understanding when I must reschedule.

Rebel Salon will be raising prices & hopefully surviving another year with all you beautiful people.

If my prices exceed your budget, I truly am sorry. But I can’t no longer take care of everyone else if I can’t take care of myself and my family.
