To our amazing clients — can we have a real moment about the beauty industry for a second? 🤍

One thing people don’t always realize is just how many different avenues beauty professionals are expected to manage daily.

Messages come through:
• Instagram
• Facebook
• TikTok
• Text messaging
• Square messaging
• Business Messenger
• Sometimes even personal accounts or comments

While we are also:
• physically working on clients for 8-12 hours
• mixing color
• doing consultations
• answering calls
• cleaning
• ordering inventory
• handling schedules
• running businesses
• and trying to have a life outside of work too

And honestly… with this many avenues of communication, sometimes we mess up.

Sometimes messages get buried.
Sometimes we accidentally forget to respond.
Sometimes we think we answered and didn’t.
Sometimes appointments don’t get written down correctly.
Sometimes we simply fail.

Not because we don’t care — but because we are human.

And when that happens, we truly are sorry.

The beauty industry has slowly created this expectation of 24/7 immediate access, and truthfully… it can become exhausting. Just because our phones are in our hands does not mean we are available every moment of every day.

We deserve dinner with our families.
We deserve weekends at our kids’ ballgames and cheer events.
We deserve evenings where we aren’t glued to a screen answering scheduling questions at 10 PM.

Grace and kindness go a long way.
